FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
What kinds of trips do you plan?
I plan joyful, stress-free family vacations — from Disney trips and cruise vacations to all-inclusive beach resorts and bucket-list getaways. Whether you’re dreaming of your first big family adventure, a multi-generational cruise, or something a little off the beaten path (yes, I even have a list of onsen stays that welcome toddlers!), I’ll create a trip that’s fun for everyone.
What does it cost to work with you?
Great news — my travel planning services come at no extra cost to you. I’m paid by the travel suppliers (like cruise lines, resorts, and tour companies), so you’ll pay the same price whether you book directly or work with me. The difference? You’ll have an experienced family travel advisor in your corner — handling the details, finding deals, and making sure everything runs smoothly so you can focus on enjoying the experience.

When should we start planning?
For spring break, summer, or bucket-list international trips, the earlier the better — ideally 6–12 months out. But if you’re a spontaneous “help us now” kind of family, I can still make magic happen. For a rough guide to planning timelines, see my Booking Timeline or head to my Book with Me page to get started.
Do you handle everything for us?
That’s the goal! I’ll take care of the logistics—flights, hotels, activities, transfers—and create a custom itinerary that fits your family’s pace and style. You focus on the fun stuff; I’ll handle the behind-the-scenes.
How do we stay in touch?
Most of our planning happens over email, shared docs and texts, but we can hop on a call anytime we need to connect more personally. Once you’re traveling, I’m still in your corner—text me, call me, send a carrier pigeon. Whatever works.
Will this feel overwhelming?
Not with me in your corner. My job is to make things easy, clear, and joyful. You’ll never have to guess what comes next—I’ll walk you through each step with heart and a whole lot of helpful checklists.
Do you only plan trips for families with young kids?
Not at all! While I love helping parents with little ones (because I know firsthand how much work that can be), I also plan trips for families with teens, adult children, grandparents, and multi-generational groups. Whether it’s a sweet 16 celebration at sea, a college graduation trip to Europe, or a “just because” getaway, I tailor each trip to your group’s ages, interests, and travel style.
Can you help with last-minute trips?
Yes! While I recommend planning ahead for the best availability and pricing, I can absolutely help with spontaneous adventures — sometimes even within a week or two. We may have to be flexible with dates, destinations, or room categories, but I can still pull together an amazing, memory-filled getaway without the stress of searching last-minute on your own.
